 The International Medical Corps organization  which is commonly Known as IMC non governmental organization  its aims is for working to relieve the suffering of those affected by war or insurgency, natural disaster and disease across the world . They deliver good healthcare services which focus on training and help large amount of  populations in other to become self-reliance.
International Medicals Corps assist those people that are in urgent need at any time, anywhere, no matter what and how the conditions, They provide lifesaving health care  also quick emergency services-often within hours. As conditions ease, They also work with local leaders to reconstruct stronger. In non-emergency settings, what they focus is development. Through their training programs, and also pass essential skills to jobless people.

1. Economic and Social Empowerment (EASE) Officer


Economic and Social Empowerment (EASE) Officer
  • The Based of  Economic and Social Empowerment (EASE) Officer located in Maiduguri Metropolitan Council (MMC) 
  • The Economic and Social Empowerment (EASE) Officer responsibility is for supporting the implementation of the Economic and Social Empowerment (EASE)  program in the field locations by supervising Community Volunteers(CV), performing  regular VSLA Training monitoring field activities, collecting data and conducting mentoring and coaching support to CVs and Economic and Social Empowerment (EASE)  groups. 
  • The responsibility of  Economic Empowerment Officer is also  performing  the Group Discussion Series (GDS) and supervising  the implementation of the CEFE business skills training.
  • It is expected that the Economic and Social Empowerment (EASE) Officer will perform  active role in building community capacity in the effective running of Economic and Social Empowerment (EASE)  groups. 
  • Economic and Social Empowerment (EASE) Officer responsibility is to reffered all report directly to the GBV Manager.

Requirement / Experience.
  • Interested Applicant Must have HND or university degree in Business Administration, Social Work and Social Administration.
  • Interested applicant should have experience with savings and credit schemes ( especially VSLA methodology)
  • Interested applicant should have good working experience working in GBV programs and in rural settings. 
  • Applicant having training and mentoring skills will be more advantage 
    Interested applicant should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interested applicant should have strong experience working with community groups
    Interested applicant should have ability to work as part of a team and to foster team spirit
    Interested applicant should have good understanding of gender equality, women’s right and empowerment. 
  • Interested applicant should have interest to travel to field sites frequently, and also stay and work in remote locations, 
  • Applicant must have strong communication skills and  also ability to clearly and effectively convey complex concepts to populations with limited numeracy and literacy skills
  • Interested applicant with good  effort to speak in good English. Fluency in Hausa and/or Kanuri an advantage
    Interested applicant should have flexibility and can adapt to prevailing environment.
    Interested applicant with experience of Computer literate especially micro soft work, excel database and power point. Knowledge of other software an advantage.
