Public Mental Health Psychologist.

Responsibility of Public Mental Health Psychologist
  • The responsibility for public mental health psychologist is to provides psychological support and psychotherapy sessions for (individual, family, group) to beneficiaries. 
  • The responsibility for public mental health psychologist is to process document progress on cases, and for maintaining strict protocols for confidentiality and consent, in other to make sure that data protection protocols are respected.
  • The responsibility for public mental health psychologist job is for assisting and training staff members (Nutrition and health) and resourceful people in order to enhance the scope of MHPSS activities. This training should be Facilitate trainings for internal staffs and communities on psychosocial first aid (PFA).
  • The responsibility for public mental health psychologist job duty is to Strengthen community based psychosocial support and peer support group activities standard protocols and procedures set to provide the most appropriate management.
Qualification Requirement.
  • Interested Applicant should have University Master’s degree in clinical psychology in Psychology.
  • Interested Applicant should have Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, including at least one year in NGO providing psychotherapy services.
  • Interested Applicant High degree of skill in psychological assessment and evaluation.
  • Interested Applicant should have working experience with or conducting research about refugee and/or displaced populations and/or demonstration of the capacity to do so.
