Mercy Corps Job Summary
Mercy Corps seeks a Field Program Manager to oversee a diverse team and manage operations and multi-sectoral humanitarian assistance and early recovery programs aimed at fostering resilient, self-sufficient communities in the challenging environment of Bama. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager (NE CORE), the Field Program Manager will coordinate day-to-day activities at the field level, emphasizing program quality and accountability while ensuring compliance with Mercy Corps policies and procedures among all staff and contractors. Upholding strict ethical and integrity standards, the incumbent will address any instances of misconduct such as fraud, corruption, or breaches of the code of conduct, following Mercy Corps protocols. As the senior representative of Mercy Corps in the field, the Field Program Manager will engage with partner organizations, local authorities, and other NGOs, and will serve as Mercy Corps' liaison on coordination platforms at the local government level.
Mercy Corps Job Responsibility: Project Management

- Mercy Corps Job Responsibility is to Establish and maintain systems for transparent and efficient use of financial resources, ensuring timely, accurate, and informative reporting in line with donor and Mercy Corps policies.
Mercy Corps Operations Management:
- Mercy Corps Job Responsibility is to Collaborate with the Senior Field Manager and Operations to ensure that operational systems (procurement, transport, storage, communications, estate/buildings management, asset management, etc.) in the target location comply with Mercy Corps systems and policies.

- Mercy Corps Job Responsibility is to Work with HR staff to ensure that local recruitment aligns with Mercy Corps HR recruitment policies, legal requirements, and local practices, and ensure understanding and implementation of HR policies and procedures by the project team.

Job Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Interested Candidate Must Have Bachelor’s Degree
- Interested Candidate Must Have Minimum of 5 years of field experience in humanitarian and/or development programs, with a track record of successfully managing such programs in transitional environments.
- Interested Candidate Must HaveDemonstrated experience in managing programs within relevant technical areas such as E-Vouchers, Cash Transfers, Livelihoods, Financial Services, and/or services for Internally Displaced Persons. A strong grasp of conflict-sensitive program integration would be highly advantageous.
- Interested Candidate Must Have Proficient in field leadership, with proven experience in effectively managing diverse and multicultural teams that collaborate to achieve results.
- Interested Candidate Must Have Exemplifies high moral and ethical standards both personally and professionally.
- Interested Candidate Must Have Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships in multicultural settings.
- Interested Candidate Must Have Proactive and capable of working independently to accomplish project objectives.
