Job Description

The FSL Project Manager will oversee the Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) components of the ENRICH project. This role includes conducting analysis and reporting, guided technically by the Senior Programs Manager and MEAL Manager.

Job Responsibilities for Project Manager FSL:

The Key Responsibilities for Project Manager FSL is to Ensure projects are implemented in accordance with donor proposals and requirements, adhering to Action Against Hunger, national, and international standards.
The Key Responsibilities for Project Manager FSL is Lead assessments, beneficiary identification, and porridge implementation in line with project proposals and donor strategies, in collaboration with the Nutrition and MEAL team.
The Key Responsibilities for Project Manager FSL is Initiate and oversee needs and technical assessments, conduct analyses, and prepare follow-up reports in coordination with the Project Coordinator, MEAL Manager, and Senior Programs Manager.
The Key Responsibilities for Project Manager FSL is Ensure accurate reporting of activities as per BOWDI and donor guidelines.
The Key Responsibilities for Project Manager FSL is Resolve team-related issues with the support of team supervisors and consult with the HR Manager when necessary.
The Key Responsibilities for Project Manager FSL Develop operational plan for beneficiaries' selection in collaboration with Nutrition team.
The Key Responsibilities for Project Manager FSL Representing Food Security issues at the level of the programme and the geographical area of intervention in state and LGA coordination meetings, meetings with the authorities and visits by funding bodies and partners.
The Key Responsibilities for Project Manager FSL is to Finalize the monthly activities reports presented to the State and LGA and Health and food Security sectors including 5W matrix.
The Key Responsibilities for Project Manager FSL is to Contribute to project donor reporting in his/her project component.
Regularly report and coordinate with line manager regarding challenges, issues faced in the field for timely and appropriate decision-making.

Position Requirements

Interested applicant for this position must have a bachelor's degree in nutrition and Dietetics or a related field, along with experience in Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) programming.
Interested applicant for this position must have a Willingness and ability to adapt and remain flexible under challenging and frustrating working conditions.
Readiness to live and work in environments with uncertain security.
Interested applicant for this position must have a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a comparable role.
Interested applicant for this position must have an Experience in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), data analysis, and FSL research, with a solid understanding of comparative study processes.
Interested applicant for this position must have Strong analytical skills for handling large data sets.
Interested applicant for this position must have Over five years of experience in implementing FSL programs in BAY states.
Interested applicant for this position must have an Exceptional report writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Interested applicant for this position must have a Competency in using statistical software such as EPI-INFO and SPSS.
Interested applicant for this position must have a Fluency in both Hausa and English.
